Farggi began back in 1957 thanks to the drive and determination of Jesús Farga, current company president and founder. After having completed his pastry training in Lleida, he moved to Barcelona to dedicate himself to the food business, motivated by his enthusiasm, creativity and perfection.
As a result of his curiosity and obsession for quality, he opened his first establishment in Barcelona, which became a benchmark in the world of select pastries. He then began to create a parallel business, serving his pastry products and ice creams to top-quality restaurants. Thanks to his customers’ rapid response, he fully and completely dedicated himself to the wholesale pastry and ice cream business under the name Farggi.
Farggi is known throughout the entire country for the quality and originality of its creations. It is then when the idea of opening some establishments where customers could enjoy the products was born. In 1993, the first Farggi store in Barcelona was opened, a city where the Farga pastry shops had already proven successful. Thus, the brand’s growth, consolidation and development were reinforced.
Faithful to its philosophy, today Farggi continues innovating and constantly developing new lines of action, as well as updating its facilities, allocating resources to R&D, in addition to creating new quality and added-value products that make it possible to meet each and every one of the challenges presented by the dynamic and demanding market that exists today.
